When Boston Bats and Blue Jays beat Toronto Jays in the ALDS

ABS-CBN’s live broadcast of the MLB East divisional series between the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays will begin at 10:30 p.m.

The game will be televised live on ESPN.

Boston’s ace Jose Quintana (3-0) and Toronto’s ace Edwin Encarnacion (1-0), both acquired in the offseason, will meet for the first time since the 2013 All-Star Game.

It will mark the first MLB matchup between two teams from different cities.

The Red Sox will play the Blue Jays for the second time in their history and have won the last four meetings in Boston.

They swept the Blue Sox in the 2013 NLDS.

The Blue Jays, who advanced to the AL wild-card game by winning Game 6 of the AL Championship Series, will look to earn a fourth consecutive playoff appearance.

The Red Sox beat the Blue Lions in seven games in the series.

Boston and Toronto last played on April 17, 2015, when the Red Sox won 4-2.

The ALDS has been played twice in Boston and once in Toronto since the All-Stars Game.

The last time Boston and Toronto played was in 2017, when Boston won 4, 2 and 4.
