When Is the Next Padres-Brewers World Series Game?

It’s a little late for a live broadcast of the next Padres-brewers World Cup playoff series, but there’s a chance the first one could be played in Texas next year.

The Associated Press is reporting that the Padres are in the final stages of a bidding war for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

The Padres would likely be a strong contender in the bidding, but that would likely depend on how the next MLB season goes.

If the Padres don’t have a deal in place with the teams they play in, that would be an odd situation, and the franchise would have to make changes.

If they did have a new deal, that deal could include a buyout clause to keep them in town if they don’t make the playoffs.

In the meantime, it’s unlikely the Padres will get to host a World Series game.

That said, the AP notes that the league will try to find a venue in Texas in 2021 for the game.

The first two games of the series will be played at AT&T Park in San Francisco, with the Padres scheduled to play the Houston Astros at the San Jose Earthquakes on July 15.
