Live Rockies report 6-0 win over Rockies at Coors Field

The Colorado Rockies won six of their final seven games to take a 4-0 series lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Rockies scored five runs in the fourth inning on four hits, and the Dodgers had a lead going into the bottom of the fifth inning on three hits.

The Dodgers scored a run in the sixth inning on two hits and a walk and lost the game, 5-4.

The Colorado bullpen held the Dodgers scoreless in the eighth inning on one hit and one walk.

The winning run scored by a walker in the ninth inning gave the Rockies a 4:06 left in the game.

Colorado led 4-1 after three innings, but the Dodgers scored three runs in that period and the Rockies tied the game with two runs in five innings.

The win gives the Rockies three games in five days to open the season and they have five games left in this four-game series against the Dodgers.

It is the first time since 2011 that the Rockies have lost six straight games to the Dodgers, the first such loss coming in the series opener on May 17, 2013, at Coor.

The team won three of four games in the four-team series.

The series also marks the first meeting between Colorado and the Los Angelos since 2002.

The two teams met in the playoffs in 2013.
